So what games do I rank as my personal favorites? Well, this is what this part of the blog is for.

Preamble:
So what do I feel is the best game EVAH? Well, there are two set criteria.
  • The amount of hours I have sunk into a game. After all, if I have invested that much time and effort then it must've been for a very good reason.
  • Emotional connection. If the game I have been playing inspires an emotional reaction (aside from rage and shouting) then it must've been a damn good one. If such a connection has been made then the game was, again, worth the effort.
So here's my list of the best games ever. Note that this will be an ongoing thing and will most likely change with the passage of time and as I play more and more games.
That's the thing with trying to pick a best game ever list: there are so many candidates that trying to decide between them is anything but easy.
Needless to say, past lists will documented and kept here on this blog for future comparison.
